How I Met Your Mother is an American sitcom that premiered on CBS on September 19, 2005, created by Craig Thomas and Carter Bays, and directed by Pamela Fryman.

Set in Manhattan, How I Met Your Mother follows the social and romantic lives of Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) and his friends Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel), Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan) and Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris).[1] As a framing device, the main character, Ted,[1] using voiceover narration by Bob Saget, in the year 2030 recounts to his son and daughter the events that led to his meeting their mother.

How I Met Your Mother has been a critical success, and has received consistently strong ratings throughout its run. It has won five Emmy Awards, including a nomination for "Outstanding Comedy Series" in 2009.

The seventh season of the series was announced in March 2011 and premiered on September 19, 2011, with back-to-back episodes, along with confirmation of an eighth season. How I Met Your Mother won the People's Choice Awards 2012 for Best TV Network Comedy and Neil Patrick Harris won the Best Male Comedy Actor, announced on January 12, 2012.[2]

This tv-series just was so great to me.



Comedy, drama, dan dalam setiap serinya menghadirkan filosofi dari kejadian yang dialami teman-temeanya Ted ; Marshall, Lily, Barney, dan Robin dnegan kehidupan cintanya Ted Mosby dalam menemukan 'The One'-nya ini.



Seperti, salah satu episode favorit gue, "As fast as she can" (episode 23, Season 4 ). Di mana Barney sedang terobsesi untuk bisa lepas dari jeratan tilang polisi karena ngebut. Ketika Marshall dan Robin bilang mereka berhasil lepas dari tilang polisi dengan trik dari keahlian mereka. Saat itu juga, Ted sedang dipertemukan kembali dengan Stella - a women who left him at the altar.

Ted : "Why Toni?"

Stella : "He's The One"

... What you and Tony have, what I thought for a second you and I had, what I know Marshall and Lily hace... I want that. I do. I keep waiting for it happen... and i guess i'm just tired of waiting."

Adalagi waktu Marshall dan Lily putus. Dan mereka sama-sama dalam keadaan yang nggak baik tapi berpura2.

Adalagi yang paling ngenes, ketika Ted nggak sengaja 'nyusul' Stella ke apartemen Tony dan ngelihat how happy they are:

Dan penutup quotes paling cantik dari season 5 adalah, ketika Lily 'melihat' dopllegangers of Barney yang sebenernya bukan.
